  • We’ll explain the equipment we use, why we use it, and HOW we use it… and we’ll walk you through clear examples so you can see exactly how it’s done.
  • You’ll learn how to produce beautiful shots when the sky is brilliant – with gorgeous foreground details and rich colors in the sky… and we’ll also show you how you can get great photos when the light ISN’T spectacular – like when you’re shooting in harsh, midday light.
  • We’ll share a variety of techniques we use when we’re shooting, so you can see how we push past the basic rules of photography to get a variety of shots – even in a difficult location.
  • We’ll walk you through a series of case studies – from fieldwork, all the way through to our post-processing workflow. And even better, we’ll share the actual original RAW and layered files with you so you can work alongside us as we show you how we do it.
  • Most of the lessons are taught on location, so you can see exactly what we’re doing, and why.

Urban and streetenvironments comprise the most diverse, target-rich places to photograph . . . anywhere. Most photos contain a “subject” within a setting or background. The cool reality is that Buildings and Urban Places can be both subjects and/or settings. Think about all the images you have made or will make in the future that contain buildings as the featured subject or as backgrounds to a myriad of other photo subjects . . . like people and their activities.

This workshop is designed to improve your photography regardless of whether you consider picture taking a hobby, or you are a serious enthusiast, professional photographer, or earn your living as a member of the global real estate, design, and construction industries.

There are accepted principles for photographing buildings and other man made structures. Knowing these principles will make you a better photographer. Understanding the science and art behind these principles will allow you to learn how to “break rules” in a deliberate, meaningful way.

You will learn how a basic understanding of Street Photography will assist in your architectural and urban photography.

Learn to take photographs that stand out from the crowd by learning professional techniques from a top professional photographer.

Stelian shoots pictures for some of the worlds leading companies and his work is published all over the world.

You can learn to shoot pictures like this only if you learn from someone with a proven track record not only in professional photography but also in photography training.

You will benefit from seeing exactly how these photographs were created step-by-step.
